States Parties recognize the right of the child to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely incultural life and the arts.

문화적·예술적 생활에 완전하게 참여할 수 있는 아동의 권리를 존중하고 촉진하며, 문화, 예술, 오락 및 여가활동을 위한 적절하고 균등한 기회의 제공을 장려하여야 한다.

States Parties shall respect and promote the right of the child to participate fully in cultural and artistic life and shall encourage the provision of appropriate and equal opportunities for cultural, artistic, recreational and leisure activity.
